Cult Of California Asks For Your Support Via Kickstarter
Jen Wilder of Cult of California has taken to KickStarter to help fund her Summer 2013 Swimsuit line. After loosing her investor to unknown reasons Cult of California, an edgy plus size brand offering active and lounge wear is seeking the support of the plus size community to continue production.
After spending over 10 years in the fashion industry designing for mainstream retailers BEBE, Forever 21, BCBG, Marciano, and Guess Jen decided to start her own plus size line. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her at events and briefly meeting her last year at a party and I can tell you this woman is working hard to bring contemporary edgy designs constructed with quality materials to the plus size community. Not only is Cult of California producing clothes for the plus size woman but they’re also employing plus size models and they’re bringing their designs to mainstream publications with their upcoming shoot with Glamour UK.
