OOTD: CREW LOVE & COMEDY JOINTS

A couple weeks ago in the midst of planning and getting ready for the Latina Lifestyle Bloggers Conference I received an invitation that was truly godsent. Chaminade Resort & Spa invited me to take part in a tour of their newly renovated spa and spend the night relaxing at their resort. I didn’t think twice before saying yes.
Chaminade Resort & Spa is a certified GREEN, eco-friendly and AAA Four Diamond resort that sits at the top of the Santa Cruz mountains on California’s central coast. I’m from Los Angeles and I live right in the middle of the city around subway stations, traffic, and main streets so the scenic road leading up to the resort was a welcomed change. It smelled like FRESH AIR!
Once I got up to the top I realized the resort itself consists of 11 buildings, a spa, pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, and 3 hiking trails. Not to mention breathtaking views of Monterey Bay and the Santa Cruz Mountains.
After the long trip there I wanted to be comfortable as I took a tour of the spa and previewed their newly added spa treatments.

I was treated to a complimentary Warm Bamboo Massage (which was heaven after an 8 1/2 hour trip), Blissful Mini Facial and a Cucumber Mint Sore Hands & Feet Treatment with Emminence organic skincare products handmade in Hungary.
The Spa at Chaminade has a steam room, a sauna, a mediation area and an outside patio with a Koi pond, a heated outdoor pool and an area to lounge and sunbathe.
The spa also has it’s own lunch menu so you can lunch outside and enjoy the view.
I received a complimentary bottle of wine as welcome gift which I saved for the end of the night. It was a perfect way to end the day.
I had dinner at one of Chaminades two on site restaurants, Lynwood’s Bar & Grill. They have inside dining as well as an outside dining area with fire pits overlooking the mountains.
The morning before I headed back to LA I enjoyed this beautiful view while I had breakfast at the Sunset Restaurant.

I wore this for the 3rd and final day of the LLBLOG conference in Downtown L.A. We’ve had a chilly spring here in L.A so I was happy I finally had a chance to wear these beautiful jeweled sandals that Fibi & Clo sent me.
